Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with paper or a silicone baking mat.

Microwave butter for 30 seconds until it has a creamy texture.

Mix butter and confectioners sugar in a large bowl or stand mixer.

Once butter and sugar are thoroughly mixed, add in flour, salt, and tea leaves. Mix ingredients until soft dough forms.

Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface until it's about ¼ inch thick.

Cut out cookies using a 2 in round cookie cutter.

Bake the dough for 20-22 minutes or until edges are a golden brown.
