Gather and measure all ingredients
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy - about 2 minutes
Add in eggs, vanilla, water and beat well
Add oats and mix well
Add flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon and mix until thoroughly blended.
Drop by tablespoon on a greased cookie sheet or use parchment paper
Bake up to 10 minutes - start checking around 8 minutes for a golden color - don't let get brown or the cookies will be hard
Cool completely and store in airtight baggies or container. Keeps up to 3 days in container. Freezing may dry these cookies out, so best if made fresh.
